Our lawyer and trusted immigration agent, Hector, did a LIVE on our Instagram account in which he talked about the famous PR – Permanent Resident Visa .

But stop! Let’s focus, because that is not today’s topic.

How to become a permanent resident of Australia

There are many ways to apply for permanent residence in Australia, but as we are not experts on securing this type of visa, we suggest you consult a professional with any questions you may have regarding the skilled visa +or the sponsor. A registered agent or an immigration lawyer can help you with the process. We also advise you to consult the official Australian immigration website, where you can check if your professional career is on the list of sought professions.

What we CAN do is guide and advise you on which coursework would look best on your permanent residency application.

To get the famous Permanent Residency-PR after a student visa, there are 2 options: the first would be to get an Australian company to sponsor you, and the second, enter the general skilled migration program.

Within both of these paths, there are many types of visas.

Visas for Sponsor :

  • Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
  • Regional Sponsored Skilled Migration Scheme (RSMS)
  • Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) Subclass 400 visas
  • Temporary Activity Subclass 408 visas
